the situation in Poland optimistically.
Reports Indicated that Soviet cavalry
had not advanced further than yester-
day's advices stated, being still about
75 miles from Warsaw Otjier devel-
opments regarded with satisfaction
were the action taken toward recon-
stituting the Polish army; the activity
of the Southern army which is coun-
ter-attacking with good' results and
the regular arrival of great quantities

today are searching not only for the
bandit, but also for the big safe stolen
from’the Magnolia Petroleum compa-
ny last night. It is supposed the safe
was removed to some secluded spot and
opened. It contained a large sum of

Denton had opened the inning with
a run. Klepper filed to Porter. Fowler
singled to center. Cobb was out, Hen-
drix to Hutchinson. Bradley singled to
left field anil Fowler scored. Bradley
was out attempting to steal, Jackson
to Middlebrook
Wlldnesa got Crook into trouble

out, Skiles to Cobb. Crook hit Whisen-
hunt again. Hutchinson fanned. Porter
