Both SHS Cross County teams state ranked
Girls win Greenhill Relays,
boys get runner-up
Sanger’s varsity boys
(Team 1) came in second,
out of 26 teams, in the
Greenhill Relays on Satur-
day at Norbuck Park. St.
Marks School of Texas won
the meet. Team 2 placed
12th.
The varsity girls’ teams
came in first, and seventh,
against 20 teams in the relay
format.
It’s no surprise how
well SHS did. The boys are
ranked second in the state by
the Cross Country Coaches
Association of Texas State
Poll and the girls are ranked
seventh in the state.
