Billy Don Bounds
September24,1940-April20,2019
Billy Don Bounds 78 of Shady Shores passed away Sat-
urday, April 20th, 2019 at Medical City Denton. He was
born in Shady Shores on September 24, 1940 to Ernest
Marcus Bounds and Eva Faye Shahan Bounds. He married
Sharon Kay Lovell on February 4, 1977 in Lewisville, TX.
They were members of the First Baptist Church of Corinth.
Billy was a member of the Denton County Antique
Tractor Club. He was retired from Peterbilt and did contract
labor work for the Town of Shady Shores
Public Works Department.
The family met at DeBerry Funeral
Directors Monday night from 5-7:00 p.m.
for visitation. Funeral services were held
Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the First Bap-
tist Church of Corinth with Rev. Bruce
Larson and Rev. Buddy Owens officiat-
ing. Burial followed at Swisher Cemetery
in Lake Dallas.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Bounds of Shady
Shores, children Kenneth Watson of Gainesville, Gracie
Atkinson of Covington, Tina and husband Rick Bryant of
Sanger, Billy Don Bounds, Jr. and wife Katie of Krugerville,
Susan and husband Carter Shay of Slidell LA, daughter in
law, Traci Galvan of Krugerville, sons, sisters and brother
In-Laws, Herbert and Judy Lovell, Susan Armstrong, Linda
Lovell and Carol Tullar, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchil-
dren and several nieces and nephews, and dear friend Ju-
dith, Nicki, Barbara S.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Irene
Heard, brothers, Jack and Bobby Bounds.
Thanks goes to Medical City of Denton’s staff, Dr. Jain,
Dr. Acuff for their great kindness and care.
Ambrose ‘Butch’ Delcambre III, 77, of Justin passed
away on April 17, 2019. He was born on
February 17, 1942 in Ft. Worth, Texas
to Ambrose and Dorothy Rhea (Molloy)
Delcambre.
He is survived by his wife, Nina of
Justin, sons, David Delcambre of Pon-
der and Scott Delcambre of Ponder,
daughter, Theresa Dillard of Sanger,
grandchildren, Gavin, Cole and Keely.
He is preceded in death by his parents,
son-in-law Kevin Dillard and sister, Gail
Harvey.
A Graveside service was held at Eakins Cemetery in
Ponder on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
Kenneth Neal Odom
October 10, 1936-April 21,2019
Kenneth Neal Odom of Sanger, TX went home peace-
fully to be with the Lord on April 21, 2019. He was born
on October 10, 1936, in Sanger, TX to Roy and Dora Mae
Odom. He was a lifelong resident of Sanger, TX. Neal grad-
uated from Sanger High School in 1955 and then earned
his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from North Texas
State University. On September 5, 1958, he married his
high school sweetheart Jo Ann Dyer. He was the father of
two sons and Granddaddy to five grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. For the majority of his life he was a
dairy farmer. After selling the dairy farm in 1986 he began
working with the Denton County Sheriff Department. He
worked as a jailor for the first few years then was able to uti-
lize his education degree to teach GED classes to inmates.
He continued in this field, until he retired in 2007 at the
age of 71. He was active in the Sanger community, serving
two terms on the Sanger School Board. He was also active
with the class of Sanger 1955. He has always supported his
children and grandchildren’s sports endeavors, making him
a lifelong fan of the Sanger Indians.
Survivors include two sons and their spouses: Ken and
Trudy Odom of Weatherford, Texas, and Chris and Ashley
Odom of Sanger, Texas; five grandchildren Lindsay Odom
of Saginaw, Texas, Meredith and Jerrod Hill of Weather-
ford, Texas, Austin, Allison, and Abigail Odom of Sanger,
Texas; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Cora Ann Hill;
one sister Janelle Odom Shelton and her husband Gray
Shelton of Sanger, Texas; and many loved cousins, niec-
es, nephews and close friends. Neal is preceded in death by
his brothers, Dale and Jimmy Odom and his beloved wife
JoAnn.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
April 23, 2019, at First Baptist Church Sanger.

ed Living in Denison.

Debbie Thetford; twelve grandchildren, eight great grand-
children; and sisters, Toni Reynolds and Jeannie McCall.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2:00 p.m.
Monday, April 22, 2019 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with
Chaplain Mike Hermanson officiating.

Penny Michelle Vennerholm
February 7, 1962 - March 22,2019
Penny Michelle Vennerholm, 57 of Sanger passed away
Friday evening, March 22, 2019, at Presbyterian Hospital in
Denton. She was born February 7, 1962
in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Tom E.
Varner and Eva (Taylor) Draper.
She is survived by her husband,
Mark Vennerholm of Sanger, son, Mark
Vennerholm II and daughter Amber
Jenkins & her husband, Luke Jenkins,
Mother, Eve Draper and Step Father, Bill
Draper of Denton, Sister, Rene’ Toudou-
ze of Dallas, and Grandson, Daniel Jen-
kins.
Penny attended Vandalia Butler
High School and University of North
Texas and married her high school sweetheart, Mark Ven-
nerholm on May 14, 1983 in Vandalia, Ohio. Penny devot-
ed her time to serving her family, friends, and community.
She attended Trinity United Methodist Church for 29 years
where she invested in the youth through Sunday school and
mission work. She was a beloved coworker and friend for
