applicants into the various de-
grees of the Scottish Rite and
will be under the 8U|>erv!s!oh
and auspices of the Waco Scot-
tish Rite bodies. Any Master
Mason, A FAA M, is invited to
make an application.
Spokesmen for Masons ■ state
reunions of this sort are seldom
held away from the site of the
home lodge, and that this is a
special occasion designated . for
[the benefit of East Texan* de-
siring, to affiliate with tiw Scot-
tish Rile It has the special
authorization and endorsement of
Illustrious R. Lee Lockwood, the
Sovereign Grand Inspector Gen-
eral in Texas of the Scottish Rite.
Lockwood also designated the
class tu be called the "J. Pgul
Price • Class'* hi memory of the
late J, Paul Price of Tyler.
Price, a devoted Mason, was
a. member of the Henry Bell
Lodge, Tyler, Chapter No. 24,
York Rite and Sharon Temple of
the Shrine. He had long been a
mefnber of the special Tyler
team that has for many years
been the initiatory team for the
15th Degree for the Scottish Rite.
It is expected that the Class
will have 200 members who will
have the opportunity of partici-1
pa ting in initiatory degree cerc-
monis which have been espec-
ially abbreviated, for this special
occasion from the usual 4 days.
Sovereign Grand Inspector Ge-
neral Lockwood, in granting the
s|M?cial dispensation that was
nccessaqy for these initiatory
ceremonies to be held in Tyler,
personally extended his lx:st wis-
hes and greetings to all East

them to join in the making of
this a most inspirational and his-
toric event.
