had struggled with numerous
health issues for many years,
along with a recent battle with
pancreatic cancer.
Marilyn is survived by
her daughter, son-in-law and
grandson, Angela, Jason and
Korbyn Ballard of Dodd
City; daughter by heart, Stacy
Monroe and husband, Stephen,
of Denison; and sister, Linda
Dianne Crossland of Leonard.
She was preceded in
death by her parents, Finas
D. and Marie Turner Wade, of
Honey Grove; and ex-husband/
father to her daughter, Galon
Williams of Windom, Texas.
Per her request, there will
be no service. She believed in
love, support and thankfulness
being given every day of life,
not primarily after passing.
The family has been receiving
condolences at home and a
donation page has been set-
up to cover expenses. The
family would like to send
love, prayers and a special
thank you to Dr. J.M. Benson,
of Sherman for his amazing
heartfelt care, love and support
over the many years. American
Funeral Home, Denison,
Texas has been kind and
understanding, while taking
care of the arrangements.

aggravated assault causing
serious bodily injury, a
warrant for DWI which he
was originally charged with
in 2011, but had his probation
revoked due to unpaid court
costs or restitution, and
also had a felony count of
evading arrest with previous
conviction added, with a total
$7,000 bond. Jail records
show he posted bond on
Monday, June 18, and was out
of custody.

Johnson has a criminal
history that includes several
assault or injury to the elderly
charges, evading arrest,
possession and DWI, and has
previously been sentenced
to four years in prison for

he was booked in Fannin
Clyde W. Cosper Texas State
Veterans Home in Bonham.
He is survived by his son,
Tom Moore of Hendrix, Okla.;
daughter and son-in-law,
Carol and Kevin McCaslin
of Celeste; three grandsons,
Joshua McCaslin, Caleb
McCaslin and wife, Angela,
and Micah McCaslin and
fiance, Ashley Frazier; three
great-grandchildren, Avriana
McCaslin, Cason McCaslin
and Rhylee McCaslin; and
extended family and friends.
In addition to his wife,
Richard was preceded in death
by his parents and a brother,
Robert Max Moore.
Pallbearers were Justin
Bankston, Caleb McCaslin,
Joshua McCaslin, and Micah
McCaslin.

Wade. She graduated from
Honey Grove High School,
followed by East Texas State
University with a degree in
Business/Criminal Law and
Accounting. She married
Galon Williams in March of
1975. Marilyn was employed
as a proofreader during
college, followed by the
Fannin County Courthouse,
attorney Buster Cole and
attorney Ed Smith. After the
birth of her daughter, she
was a stay-at-home mother
to Angela and her friends
over the years, a homemaker,
and also helped with the
family farming and ranching
business, while being involved
with Windom School, local
elections and numerous other
community projects.
Marilyn loved having an
open door to all of Angela
and Korbyn's friends, from
childhood, throughout her life.
She loved decorating for every
holiday; Christmas, followed
by Halloween, were her
favorite. She always placed her
family before herself, wanting
them happy and spoiled
beyond reason. She will be
greatly missed, but through
the sorrow, tears and lonely
days, we must be thankful
she is no longer suffering, in
pain. Marilyn passed away
peacefully at her home on June
13,2018, at the age of 67. She

Summer Camp is
always great fun for children
whose families are looking
for activities. The Creative
Arts Center in Bonham is
once again offering great
opportunities for children
to learn about art, voice and
theater. There are three weeks
of Summer Camp left - June
25-29, July 16-20 and July
30-August 2 with art and voice
in the morning and theater in
the afternoon. The camps do
CAC hosting four weeks of summer camp
not repeat activities for those
children wishing to participate
in more than one week.
Morning sessions are from
10 a.m. to noon and afternoon
sessions are from 12:30-2:30
p.m. At the conclusion of each
week, art will be on display,
voice students will have a
recital and theater students will
have a performance. Art, voice
or theater will be $60 each
or, if children participate in a
morning and afternoon session,

services
for Richard
Moore,
92, of
Greenville,
formerly of |
Bonham,
were held Saturday, June
16, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Wise
Funeral Home Chapel with
Allen Snider and Derrell Hall
officiating. Burial followed
in Mulberry Cemetery.
Family received friends at
Wise Funeral Home from 9
a.m. until service time that
Saturday.
Richard was born July
13, 1925 in Bonham, Texas,
the son of Charlie Moore and
Winnie Oma Mayfield Moore.
He was a U.S. Airforce veteran
of World War II. Richard
married Abbie Elizabeth
Hall on June 1, 1952, in
the Mulberry Community
of Fannin County, and she
preceded him in death on July
27, 2011. Richard worked
as a sales manager for the
Graybar Electric Company
for a number of years before
returning to Fannin County.
He was a farmer and rancher
and the owner/operator of
Woodard's Western Wear
in Bonham for many years.
Richard passed away early
