Marrufo, “we also are going to

two young gentlemen as they
are working hard to make your
shopping more pleasurable.
Stevens likes Stamford as it
reminds him of his home town.
“I am from a farm family, we
fanned peppers, com and pota-
toes. I can relate to the agricul-
ture influence on this commu-
nity.”
Since Marrufo and Stevens
have taken over, the store has

Anyone who has been in
Anthony’s within the last two
weeks has probably noticed a
few new faces.
Besides new sales people, a
new manager, Gregory Marrufo
and assistant manager, Randall
Stevens have been hard at work
getting Anthony’s “back on ys
feel again.”
Marrufo, originally from
Lordburg, New Mexico is a 19X7
graduate of New Mexico Stale
University in Las Cruces. He
majored in journalism and re-
ceived two years of advertising
experience at two radio stations
in San Angelo. With the persua-
sion of a friend, he became
employed at the local
Anthony’s. One and a half years
later, he was promoted to the
assistant manager at Anthony’s
in Abilene, and two weeks ago
became the manager of the
Stamford Anthony’s.
Marrufo has a high regard
towards education as his father
was a high school principle and
his mother a school teacher. He
is fond of his home state and
hopes to return someday and
become governor.

agement of the store, Stevens

At Teakwood Friday after
