DRESS UP DAY The De Leon Elementary Student Council
sponsored the annual Dress Up Day Friday. Divisions were: 1st grade -
cowboys and cowgirls, 2nd and 3rd grades - boys as gals and girls as guys,
and 4th and 5th - television and movie personalities. M. C. was Xandra
Carter, student council sponsor, and judges were: Mark Beaty, Linda
Burlison, Dennis Otwell, and Pat Koonce. Winners were: Cowboy:
Klinton Hardin (1st grade), cowgirl - Rhesea Rainey (1st grade), gal -
George Stephens (2nd grade), guy - Lisa Morris (3rd grade), Baby Maggie
Simpson - Maggie Sadberry (5th grade), Will Rogers - Beau Bellenfant (4th
grade) and Steve Erkle - Talmage Hodges (5th grade). Teacher division
winner was Betty Duke as Barbara Stanwyk of the Big Valley. All
homeroom winners received pencils and division winners were given
