Newly-elected Agriculture Com-
missioner Rick Perry will preview
the future of Texas agriculture for
Central and North Central Texas
farmers and ranchers at a January
14-15 conference at the Waco
Convention Center.
Perry will be the luncheon speaker
on Tuesday, January 15, at the
Blackland Income
Conference, held in conjunction with a national Gallup survey
commissioned by IFIC and ADA
reveals that:
*95 percent believe balance,
variety, and moderation are the
keys to healthy eating.
•83 percent recognize that what
they eat may affect their future
health.
•77 percent are familiar with the
basic food groups.
•76 percent feel confident in
making food choices.
But, Americans still cling to
