ended the season for the Al-
vin Swimming Team and
their coach, Betty Copeland.
Those taking medals in the
10 and under age division
were Spencer Fritz, 33 1/3
meter freestyle; junior
girls, a 266 2/3 meter free-
style relay composed of
Kathy Childre-s, Robbie
Hering, Carol Childress, and
Sue Mallory took first place,
and for junior boys, Tom
White, Andy Ecrnisse, Mike
White and Gene Hagood took
third for the 266 2/3 relay
team.
Mike White was fourth in
the 100 meter backstroke.
Sue Mallory was third in 100
meter breaststroke, and
Gene Hagood fourth, and
Robbie Hering was fourth
in 100 meter freestyle.
In the 133 1/3 meter in-
dividual medley, Kathy Chil-
dress won a third place med-
al and Tom White a fourth.
Second place medals were
won by the 266 2/3 meter
medley relay, with team
members Kathy Childress,
backstroke; Sue Mallory,
breaststroke; Carol Chil-
dress, butterfly; and Rob-
bie Hering, freestyle.
