Under the youth segment of the Catholic Daughters Circle of Love Program, Court St. Rose 1597 of the Catholic Daughters of the
Americas awards scholarships each year to children or grandchildren of court members who attend Schulenburg High School or Sacred
Heart High School in Hallettsville.
Court St. Rose is happy to announce that this year’s recipients are Allison Mican (third from left), daughterof member Jeannie Mican;

seniors at the awards banquet on Wednesday, May 8. The recipients were Hannah Schulz (second from right)
and Kevin Treybig (second from left). Hannah is the daughter of Craig and Carrie Schulz and plans to attend
Texas A&M. Kevin is the son of Cheryl Treybig and Lawrence Treybig. He plans to attend Victoria College
The Garden Club is proud to be partoftheir plans, helping them reach their goals for the future. The Garden
Club wishes them good luck in this next chapter of their lives, and congratulations! Representing the Garden

Turtle Wing Foundation pre-
sented its first-ever scholarships

Allan Hooper - in whose memory
Turtle Wing Foundation was estab-
lished in 2011 - would have been
in the Schulenburg High School
graduating class of 2019.
Although he will not be walking
across the stage with his class-
mates, the impact of his life and
passing will be present.
