Driver arrested
A driver who was involved
in a minor accident at the inter-
section of West SH 6 and Bra-
zos Street was arrested after it
was determined that he failed
to control speed of his vehicle.
The driver also didn’t have a
valid driver’s license or vehicle
insurance, which are also traffic
infractions cited by police. The
incident occurred at 7:07 p.m.,
Oct. 20.
To illustrate what the cultural en-

war, representative displays give a
glimpse of what life was like in our
town, including life at home, fash-
ion and the business community,

The temporary exhibit will be

Speedster stopped, arrested
A male was stopped after he
was clocked driving 73 mph in
a 55 mph zone along SH 35 at
7:40 p.m., Oct. 21. Following an
investigation, it was determined
that the driver would be cited for
speeding. The report explains
that the vehicle involved had a
fictitious registration insignia
on it. No other information was
available.
