Art enthusiasts look over several
pieces of jewelry during a reception
for the Fall Student Art Show Nov. 18
at Alvin Community College. Several
art works created by Alvin Commu-
nity College students are now on dis-
play at the college’s Fine Arts Gallery.
The exhibit is part of the Fall Student
Art Show which features works in-
cluding ceramics, pottery, paintings,
mixed media, jewelry and more. The
Art Department hosted an opening
reception for the exhibit Nov. 18 All
of the Art Show works were pro-
duced by ACC students during their
art classes throughout this semester.
Many of the pieces are for sale. The
exhibit will close Nov. 27. For more

old fashioned burgers, hand made onion rings
and hand dipped ice cream it will surely hit the
spot. Red Cap has plate lunch specials served
daily and has all of your favorite shakes and
floats and old fashioned malts. We look forward

Not only will you find delicious old fashioned
burgers but our grilled chicken breast, meat
loaf, liver and onions will appeal to a variety
of people as well as the fried catfish filet,
hamburger steak with grilled onions, chicken
fried steak, breaded chicken tenders are several
other choices on the lunch menu.
We serve lunch 10am-6pm every day which
includes a choice of three sides (and a special
discount for seniors - dine in only). The sides
are large variety as well:
Turnip greens, pinto beans, black eyed peas,
fried okra, onion rings, mashed potatoes with
gravy, potato salad, green beans, cole slaw,
Cajun fries, french fries or side salad.
We have something for everyone.
Happy Hour drinks are served from 2pm-
4pm every day. Stop on by and bring the whole
family, you won’t be disappointed.
