COLORADO AND NAViDAb LAND,
FOR SALE,
At Omb Doflar Per Acre.
T WILL sell eight thousand acres of Land, on the w<*i side of the
A Colorado Rjvct, about 8 miles above the County Tow n of Co-
lumboa, at one dollar per acre Caeli, in good money, or six dollars
tn Texas bills, before the first of July next.
The land w said by the people of Columbus and neighborhood to
be equal in quality to any on that river, remarkable well watered
and usually well timbered—being a choice selection made for me in i
1831, by the late 8 F Austin, as the best land than vacant.
The purchaser of 4, 6 or 8 thousand acres may have his choice out
of eleven thousand acres on the same terms.
The title is unquestionable, being my own head right, augmented ;
for public services to the statu, proven and recurdid according to
law. I will give warranty title. My obiect in offering my Colorado
land at one-third the pnee such land has sold for thu last thre?
years; is to obta n money to prevent the sacrifice of my
shenif eale, for cash without appraisement, tor six thousan
of debt, and two thousand taxes.
/l will' alro aell ou rhe same h rms half a leagus of land on the
Navidad River. 13 mdcs above Tsxana, and within two mfieaof the
new great road from Linn’s Landing to the city of Austin— being
the upper half of Eh Mercer's head right, located in 1329; peach
land, sad to be two-thirds timber. Persons wanting the pt “
of .Meeting tracts of one or two thousand acres can have it fur .
cents per acre more. The first applicant with cash in band will get
the land. HENRY AUSTIN.
