Yet, stranger as it teems thia "good”
moral man, Cornelius, needed something
more. Morality isn’t enough to save a
man. God told Cornelius to send for
Peter, "who shall tell thee words whereby
thou ... , shalt be saved." (Acts 11:14)
Cornelius needed Christ to tare him. Jesus
said: "1 am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but. by me.” (John 14.6)
Peter came to Cornelius’ house and
found his kinsman and near friends ready
"to hear all things that are commanded
thee of God.” Peter preached Christ as
the Son of God, the Saviour of the world.
He told how Jesus had lived a perfect,
life, and died for man s sin on the cross.
He called on all to believe in the Lorn
Jesus. They believed and Peter asked:

The Wood family are on vacation
in Arkansas, so Lady and the coons
were moved to the Satterfield home
and Charlie took over the job of keep-

morning. Before the camera got there,
and of course we were late, they got
hungry and went to sucking on each
others ears.

sinner. If you have not obeyed the gospel
of Christ n* Cornelius did, You need the
blood of Christ to save you from your
sins (1 John 1:7). You need to believe in
Christ as God s son, repent of your sins,
