METHODIST CHURCH
Every effort is being put forth
to make the Sunday school ans-
wer to the demand of present
day needs. Of course, some
members think, or seem to think,
they have done their duty to-
ward this worthy institution by
furnishing some children to have
schooled. Still some others re-
flect the attitude that they let
the church have them that long
each Sabbath because it swells
the numbers. Over and above
this, there are some who take
seriously their opportunity to
build in this way an enduring
temple in human personality.
This larger idea needs your co-
operation.
The choir is making prepara-
tion each week to be of service
in the worship period. It merits
your hearty co-operation; it need's
it; it appreciates it. You must
certainly enjoy their music —
their specials. To all of this you
are cordially invited.
Sermon subjects: "The Lan-
guage of Success," fur the morn-
ing hour; and for the evening,
"This Way Out, Gentlemen."
Leagues meet in regular ses-
sion—6:45 P. M. On time please.
John W. Hendrix, Minister.
o
CHURCH OF CHRIST
In addition to the regular
services in town, there will be
a service at the M. K. school
house on Sunday at 3:00 p. m.
"A man cannot get into Heaven
by confessing his neighbors'
sins."
C. W. Merseh, Minister.
