That morning lameness—those
sharp pains when bending or
lifting, make work a burden and
rest impossible. Don't be hnnd
icapped by a bad back—look to
your kidneys. You will make
no mistake by following this
Snydtr resident's example.
Mrs, N. A. Fowler, Snyder,
Texas, says: "About a year ago
I was troubled by my kidneys.
My back was weak and lame
and the kidney secretions were
irregular in passage. Black
spots also floated before my eyes1
and caused dizziness. Two!
others of the family had used =
Doan's Kidney Pills with such
good results. I got a box. They '
helped me, so I used more and ii
was cured. I haven't had any
kidney trouble since."
Price 60c at all dealers. I'on's
simply ask for a kidney remedy
—get Doan's Kidney Pills—the
same that Mrs. Fowler had.

You will please note that the
writer of the above article did
not «ay one word about the Pro-
hibiton amendment. He is more
interested in trying to deny wo-
men that which rightly be'onged
to them all the time. We were
not forced to run the above arti-
cle, and had we believed that it
would cause one single vote to
be cast against the suffrage
amendment, we wouldn't have
run it. but instead, we believe
it will really cause some one who
has not fully made up their
mind, to come over and give the
women the ballot. Anyway,
they're going to get it, you
might as well prepare yourself
for the shock.

blood upset her for u while: but a
few hours later she wasi playing

wonder is that wounded black* don't
more often bleed to death, fur they
take no special means to prevent It.
The most approved method used to be
to cover the wound thickly with Hne
mangrove ash, and over that a layer
of damp clay, which was not removed
for several days. 1 never saw them
wash a wound, their theory being that
the blood l>eal* the wound, til Inter
years they all learned to go to ti doc-
tor when Injnred, but thirty or forty
years ago one saw^dreadfnl deformi-
