Il was the ONLY place to go in Detroit last Tuesday. May 11
.lust the only place!
if ten parades had marched through town, if green pigmies had
performed on stage in the old Tabernacle, or even if "Ronnie" himself
had whistle-stopped through in a "Victory Train covered with jelly

(IN LA place to go'
Indeed it was a joy to saunter around the show animals, and talk with
their young enthusiastic owners, who could all lie classified as Winners,
simplv lusause of the excited smiles on their faces
Certamlv many, many people were responsible for coordinating the
successful event, therefore it would Im- impossible to list them ail in such
limited space However, recognition must go to the following parents
R (.’.. Hob Pyeatte, Roy Arrasmith, Alan Brown, Kevin Jenkins Ricky
Walker. Ag and FFA teacher. Seneca Cowan. Sonny Covington, and
K B Tolson Others who greatly contributed were teacher. Mac Varley,
who handled microphone duties and Carl and Hazel Motley
Not to l>e forgotten of course are the FFA members, especially die
officers Bobby Motley. President. Vaughn Whitley. A President, Jeff
Blanton Secretary. Mike Motley. Treasurer. Owen Jol>e. Reporter; and
Mark (day Sentinel
It was a pretty day* it was a good time, it was a good show'
