' J. R. SIMS’ 80th BIRTHDAY
GIVEN JUNE 8TH. and baby Of Port LaVaca spent
J. R. Sims’ children,’ grand
children and great-grand child-
ren and friends helped him cele-
brate his 80th birthday June 8th
with a picnic dinner, the menu
consisting of fried chicken, roast
beef, sausage, salads, potato chips
and many kinds of cakes, cookies
and pies. Iced tea and ice cream
were also on the menu. ,

occasion’were Mr. and Mrs. E. J.

Emery Jr., Lamar and Patricia
Ann from Louise, Texas; Mr. and
Mrs. J. S. Tyson and four children
Joyce, Buddy, Lou and Sue, who
are beautiful twins, from San
Antonio; R. C. Suns and son
Donald Louise, Texas; C. C. Sims
and four children, Eileen, Hazel,
Floyd, and Anna Laura >.of
Louise, Texas; Mr. and. Mrs. Ahl-
green and daughter Arden Lynn

SECTION I
That it shall be unlawful for-
any person to park an automo-
bile, truck, pickup truck, motor-
cycle, or any other vehicle on the
public square and/or streets ad-
jacent thereto at any place ex-
cept between the lines marked
off for said purpose on such pub--
lie square and streets.
SECTION II
That alt ordinances or parts of
ordinances ‘-of the City of Halletts-
ville in conflict with the written
provisions of this ordinance shall
be, and the same are hereby, re-
pealed in so far as they are in
conflict herewith.
SECTION III -
That the driver of any auto-
mobile, truck, pickup truck,
motor cycle or offier vehicle who
. shall park his vehicle on the pub-
I lice square and streets adjacent
I. thereto jn the City of Halletts-
I .ville at a place other than be-
| tween the lines marked and des-
I ignated therefor, shall be deemed
[ guilty of a misdemeanor, and, up-
I ,on conviction, shall be fined not
I less than One ($1.00) Dollar nor
I. more than Twenty-Five ($25.00)
[ Dollars; hnd each such violation
