Last Tuesday, the J-H clubs from
over the County met for a big Rally
day in Asperinont. From the four
clubs, (Peacock, two f.oin Swenson,
and one from Old Glory; there were
assembled about one httiKire.i girls.
The clubs met with M; is Day at the
Aspermont High school auditorium.
Song were sung and the business was
attended to after which Miss Koe-
buck showed the girln througn the
high school bulding.
After returning to '.he auditorum,
Miss Day reminded the givls of their
four goals as cooperators.

girls were shown a model closet,
made by the manuel training class of
I'eacock high school, showing the ac-
cessories of the closet. She then
showed us different effects that could
be made by the arrangments of the
surface in a bedroom (dresser, study
table and bedside table. She also
explained and showed how we could
acquire formal and informal balance.
After singing the Texas State song,
Texas, Our Texas," the clubs ad-
jouned to the basement of the Bap-
tist church where they had lunch and
played games until 8 o'clock.

HERE SATURDAY, 24
The Stonewall county home demon-
stration council met hero April 24 in
the Pheonix Club room at the Court
house for the fourth meeting of the
year. Six clubs answered roll call-
A study was made of making but-
ton holes and sewing on buttons,
fasteners, hooks and eyes. Styles
relative to personalities and figures,
were also discussed.
The club presidents are to elect
short course delegates in May. The
Council will select three women, from
the list of degegaltes, to go to the.
Texas H-D association meeting in
July. It was decided that each club
should help the council as much as
they could with finances for the year.
Mrs. Bill McDaniels resigned as
council secretary treasurer.

Lanier. Mrs. Bill Childress, Mrs. John

A group picture of the cowboys of
Cuttle, King and Stonewall counties
was taken at Guthrie Sunday morn
ing. The picture will appear in the
American Guide, material for which
is now being prepared by the Federal
Writers Project. The following from
