Dear Miss McCormick:
Thank you for your letter of July 19, 1961, in which you request information
pertaining to our Beauty Schools.
We offer a complete beauty course as prescribee by the Texas State Board of
Cosmetology, which consists of the following:
Hair Styling Pedicuring
Hair Shaping Make-Up
Hair Coloring Facials
Permanent Waving Scalp Treatme nts
Manicuring
The students are required to spend two hours daily in classes on the Theory of
Cosmetology, and in addition thereto, we teach other related subjects, such as,
Shop Etiquette, Ethica. General Growth and Development.
LENGTH OF COURSE:
The complete beauty culture course consistes of 1000 hours in a licensed
school. The course may be completed in six months time if the student attends
classes eirht hours per day. We have both day and night classes- the school
opens at 9:00 A. M. AND closes at 10:00 P. M. The student may attend any time
during these hours to suit his needs or convenience. He may take as long as
necessary to complete the course, but he cannot take less time than six months.
TUITION
The tuition is $175.00 for the complete beauty course. The student may pay cash
thereby earning a 10% forcash discount or we are pleased to arrange terms with a s
little as $30.00 down payment and the balance may be paid in equal monthly,
semi-monthly, or weekly installments- whichever is most convenient for the
student. There is no carrying charge or interest for the time payment plan.
