Mr. and Mrs. Debs Johnson
ot Old Glory announce the
marriage of their eldest daugh-
ter, Nell, to Jack Gibson of
Pecos. The bridegroom is the
son of Mrs. Lee Gibson unci the
late Lee Gibson of Pecos.
The double-ring ceremony took
place on Wednesday, October 10
at 4:30 p.m. in the Sagertori
Methodist Church, with Rev. R.
L. Kirk of Abilene officiating.
Traditional wedding music
was played by Mrs. Dorothy
Clark of Sagerton. Shirley Da-
vis and Glenda Johnson, sister
of the bride, sang "Because,"
accompanied by Mrs. Clark. The
bride entered on the arm of her
father who gave her in mar-
riage. Maid of honor was! Nn-,
dine Johnson, sister 1 the
bride. Best man was David
Gibson, cousin of the groom, j
Sandra Bait/, daughter of Mr
and Mrs. Bill Baitz of Old Glory
was ring bearer.
The bride wore a floor
leneth white gown of satin and
a finger-tip veil of whit? net
crowned with orange blossoms.'
The bride's bouquet was pink!

Johnson wore a gold bracelet
that had been her area! grard
mother's. Something new was
her wedding gown. Something
borrowed was a single string of
pearls from Mrs. Louis Sp.il-
zer, and something blue was a
blue ruffled garter.
The maid of honor won- a
pink net evening gown with a
pink net stole. Her corsage
was pink carnations.
The ring bearer's gown was
blue taffeta with tiny pink
bows all over the skirt. She
wore a single pink carnation.
The bride's mother wore a
deep purple suit with a gold
blouse. Her accessories were
black and her corsage was of
yellow baby mums.
The groom's mother wore a
wine dress with black aeces-
.'-'■ries. Her corsage was of
white carnations,
Mrs. Gibson is a 1951 honor
graduate of Old Glory High
School. She attended Draughon's
Business College in Abilene.
The groom is a graduate of
i'ecos High School and at-
tended Texas Western College
a ( El Paso.
The couple took a short wed-
u ng trip to San Angelo and
plan to live in Pecos whore the
groom is employed with Sunset
Motor Lines.
For traveling the bride wore
a deep wiho suite with a pink j

have a big party with every-
one joining m appropriate games
and stunts, or just have a few
friends in for the evening, do
enter into the gay spirit of the
evening by using decorations or
favors made of brightly colored
cardboard cut-outs and crepe
paper.
Simple refreshments might
consist of cookies with spook
faces, to carry out the theme of
the evening, and refreshing
drinks of pale dry ginger ale.
You might serve ginger ale,
mixed in equal proportions with
tangerine juice or grape juice.
Here's a blend of fruit juices
that is delicious, pepped up with
ginger ale.

Hallowe'en Spook Cooki^c
2 squares chocolate
Vx cup shortening
t!i cups flour
.1 cup sugar
'2 cup nonfat dry milk
'•j teaspoon baking soda
teaspoon salt
'2 cup water
1 egg
Melt chocolate and shortening
in top of double boiler over hot
water. Cool. Sift together flour,
sugar, nonfat dry milk, soda and
salt. Add water and egg te.

smooth. Drop by teaspoonful^ a
