A motorist and his wife travel-
ing through the Blue Ridge
Mountains stopped at a one
pump gas station before a
mountaineer's cabin. After the
man told the proprietor to fi!
the tank, his wife asked: "I
there a rest room here?"
"No, ma'am, there isn't, re-
plied the gas man, "but you'5'
find a mighty comfortable rock-
er up there on the porch."
A well dressed man walk":!
into a psychiatrist's office and
admitted he was miserable.
"I have two cars, a swimming
pool, and a very attractive girl
living next door but I'm still un-
happy."
"But why aren't you happy?"
asked the doctor.
"Because," the man said, "T
lost my driver's license, I can't
swim and the girl next door i"
married."
The young couple walked into
a car dealer's showroom and
were startled by the suggested
price of a compact car. "Pu1
that's almost the cost of a hi."
car." the husband said.
"Well," said the salesman, "If
you want economy, you sot to
pay for it."
