Week. She enjoys drawing, swimming, watching her
favorite movie, Home, and reading her favorite book,
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Berenice wants to be
a vet when she grows up because she wants to be able to
help animals. Her daddy is her role model
because he works hard to fulfill the family’s
needs. Ms. Rash says Berenice is “a joy to have
in class. She works extremely hard and is always
helpful. She is polite and kind to both her teachers and her
classmates.

Alaney Daniels has been chosen for Rider of
the Week by Ms. Fults. Alaney likes to play outside
with her sister, swim in the swimming pool and
watch Monster High because it is so funny. She
likes a lot of books and can't choose her favorite,
but she enjoys funny ones. Her mother is her role
model because she pays a lot of money to go to
school and be smart. Sometimes she stays at home
and she teaches Alaney things. When Alaney grows
up, she hopes to be a techer like her mother.
Teaching on the board during “big group’’ is her favorite. Ms. Fults says “Alaney
has the best manners and is the perfect example of a Rider champion. She is
concerned about others, does her best, and loves reading!”

Mareli Vera was chosen for Rider of the Week by Mrs. Radney. Merli loves the
Junie B. Jones books because when Mareli bought her first book, it was about Junie
losing a tooth and Mareli lost a tooth on that same day. Her role model is her mom
because she helps with a lot of things and teachers her many things as well. When
Mareli grows up, she wants to be a dentist because they can be very funny people who
help others. For fun, Mareli loves to play hide-and-seek with her brother when she gets
home. Mrs. Radney says Mareli is "an incredibly thoughtful person that goes out of her
way to help people around her even before she is asked. Mareli works well with other
students and works very hard when it comes to her academics. She can always be
counted on to set a great example for others when it comes to making good choices!”

Mr. Archie Haddox has chosen Tony Garcia to be Rider
of the Week. His favorite movie is Kingsman: The Secret
Service. Tony enjoys playing tennis. He says, “it has
become my favorite hobby. I can spend all day playing
tennis and not get tired. I also love to hang out with my
friends and watch the Texas A&M game on Saturdays.’’
Tony says that his mother is his role model. “Since I was 6-
years-old, she has been a single mother of 5 children. She
1 works herself into the ground to support us. I don’t
jjl think I’ll ever be as good of a parent as she is.” Mr.
j Haddox says Tony is “both a good student, eager to
participate in class, but also a quality young man.
Tony is focused on his future and I have no doubt he
will achieve the things he desires.”
Mr. Haddox also chose Malory Nehring for Rider of
the Week. Malory enjoys reading, playing the piano,
tennis, singing, hanging out with friends, and watching
her favorite movie The Great Gatsby. Her role model is
her mother because she motivated Malory to become an
independent, educated and selfless person who wants to
help others. When Malory grows up, she wants to be a
teacher because she enjoys helping others and there is
no better way to help than educating others to reach
their full potential. Mr. Haddox says Malory is “a 1
motivated young lady that demonstrates both desire to
learn and the character that motivates those around her. Malory has great
potential and I expect many exciting things in her future.”

Mrs. Crouch and Corbell have chosen Jimmarion
Smith for Rider of the Week. His favorite movie is
Goosebumps because it is scary and he likes to curl
up with his blanket when he is scared. His role model is
his grandma because she likes to give him presents and
. she is always helping his family. When Jimmarion
f grows up, he wants to be a professional football player
for the Dallas Cowboys because they really need some

Week. He enjoys playing football, video games,
