Teen, flagman injured
in weekend accident
A 15-year-old Carthage girl and
a highway flagman are recovering
from injuries sustained in a one-ve-
hicle accident Friday.
Occurring on FM 2517 at ap-
proximately 7 p.m., the accident
involved the driver of a 1995 Nis-
san 240SX, Kerri Boykin, of
Carthage.
According to a report prepared
by Texas Department of Public
Safety troopers, Boykin was trav-
elling at a high rate of speed when
