double ring ceremony in the
United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mm. Frederick
Dalby. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert
Vahlenkamp of Old Glory
are the parents of the bride-
groom.
Rev. Clyde Cook of Shal-
iowater officiated. Organist
was Mrs. Jerry Mitchell,
soloist was Mrs. Fred W. Tim-
berlake Jr., cousin of the bride.
Presented in marriage by
her father, the bride wore a
white imported silk organza
gown with empire waist and
full sleeves. The gown and
chapel train were trimmed
with appliqued lace and rib-
bon. A ribbon and lace trimmed
crown held her full length
grecian mantle. She carried
white glamellias and lemon
leaves.
Jimmie Dell Dalby was her
sister's honor attendant.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Larry
Brown of Old Glory sister of
the bridegroom, and Mrs.
Lerry Riddle of Wichita Falls,
cousin of the bride.
Bridal attendants wore
gowns of pink dotted swiss
with embossed white daisies.
Hot pink velvet ribbon sashes
with hem length streamers
marked empire waistlines.

Vacation Bible School will
begin June 1 from 8:30 -11:30.
A program will be held Fri-
day June 5 at 8:00 p.m. to
conclude the school. Offer-

anniversary.

Mr. Turner was born June
5 1893, in Crowell, Texas.
Mrs. Turner was born in
Pikeftille, Tenn., May 22, 1893.
They met in the summer of
1914 in Swenson and were
married in the court house
in Amarillo on May 20, 1920.
Before moving to Aspermont,
they lived in Stratford, where
jvir. Turner served as sheriff.
He also served as sheriff of
Stonewall County, being the
first man, according to the
Police Gazette magazine, to
ever be elected sheriff in two
counties. Mr.. Turner is now
working as a barber.
The couple are members
of the United Methodist.
Church. They both enjoy
working in their yard.
They have 20 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchil-
dren.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rash
of Austin and Mr. and Mrs.
Burt Shelton of Odessa visited
in the J. V. Rash home and
attended Malcolm's gradu-
ation.
Mr. and Mrs. Burt Mul-
len of Tularosa, N. M. were
here for their granddaughter
Debbie's graduation.
