Sadness befell our community
again last week as friends and
relatives gathered to pay our
last respects to our oldest
pioneer citizen, Mrs. W. G.
(Lottie) Wienke. Mrs. Wienke
was 94 and had been a resident
of our community since 1906.
The big old two-story house
that she and Mr. Wienke b'tdlt in
1@15 and had been a gathering
plsrp m? mfii nf iig An many
happy occasions, seemed sad
and empty. Mrs. Wienke had a
great deal of the true pioneer
spirit and she will be long
remembered by those of us who
knew her.
Sincere sympathy is
pressed to her children.
