and operated by Robert Martin-
dale^- recently purchased Jolin-
son Feed.Mill of Sanger. The
Sanger plant is being operated
.by Ray Spears of Gainesville,
brother-in-law of Martindale.
Spears and his wife, the for-
mer Glenda Martindale, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. C. 1). Mar-
tindale, and , their two young
sons, Bill, 8, and Alan, 2, plan
to move to Sanger in the near
future.
Both the Sanger and Valley
View Feed Mills handle a com-
plete line of veterinary supplies
and farm chemicals.
They worked their way up
through Oklahoma. Colorado,
and on into Nebraska and were
in Lamar, Nebraska at the time
of the accident.

attend the wedding of her grand-
son, Robert Coulter, and Miss
Marie Goodpaster on Friday
night, July 1, at the First Meth-
odist Church of Irving.

Mr. and Mrs. John Lowe for
some ten days or so were their
grandchildren, Susan and Carol
Myers, daughters of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Myers of Dallas.
The children stayed with their
grandparents while their par-
ents vacationed in Alabama and
Georgia. Lowe was looking for-
ward to seeing a picture the
couple made of the house in
which he was born in Glen Allen.
Alabama. His parents moved
from there when he was two

Mrs. James Wheeler, the
former Nora Ellen Newton, was
the honoree at a bridal shower
held Saturday night in the Fel-
lowship Hall of the Methodist
Church. ?
The young bride’s chosen
colors of. green and white were
carried out in decorations and
refreshments. The table where
the guests were registered was
covered with a hand-crocheted
cloth and held an arrangement
of geeen Zinnias, and the re-
freshment table was cover-
ed with a lace cloth over green
and also lield an arrangement
of the green Zinnias. Mrs.Lima
Kile and Mrs. W. M. Terry
served cake and punch to the
guests as they arrived.
Assisting Mrs. Wheeler in
opening her gifts were her
mother, Mrs. Charles Newtort;
her husband’s mother, Mrs.
Wm. V. Wheeler of Albany;
and her sister, Kirs. Jimmy
Stroud of Denton.

MOMENTS WITH MARGUERITE
MRS. GERTIE CALHOUN underwent major surgery at
Gainesville Memorial Hospital last Thursday afternoon and
was reported to be getting along nicely the first of the week.
JESSE MURPHREY was recently admitted to the Veterans
Hospital at Lisbon.
L. O. (CHIG) GREGORY was admitted to Gainesville Hos-
pital late Saturday night and was reported to be improving on
Saturday.
C. L. DAVIS, injured Saturday morning when attacked by a
bull in a cow lot on his place, was reported much improved
Monday. He received a brain concussion and was paralyzed
on his right side. Mrs. Davis received miftor injuries as she
succeeded in driving the animal away from her husband.
DEWELL (MUTT) SANDERS is a patient at the Gainesville
Hospital as a result of injuries received when the gravel
truck he was driving overturned.
BILL BLANKENSHIP, brother-in-law of the Wilkersons and
well known in the community, is seriously ill in Veterans
Hospital, Lisbon.
LLOYD ROANE, brother of Homer and Lloyd Roan, is a
patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, Fort Worth, following back
surgery this past week.
ARTHUR KRUGER was dismissed from Gainesville Hospital
on Tuesday of last week after being confined for several
days.
RAYMOND GARNER returned home from Gainesville Hos-
pital Monday. He had been confined since Tuesday of last
week, suffering from a sprained back.
MRS. NORMAN (BERNICE) MILLS was delighted recently
when she received a lovely robe and material for a fall
dress from her son, Roy Blair, who is stationed in Thailand.
MRS. RUFUS HENSCHEID of Muenster, daughter of Mrs.
Wi(lie Bierschenk, received minor injuries in a two-car
collision on Monday of last week on Hwy. 82 near Interstate
35 overpass.

The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Raima
Jo Davidson and Dudley Raymond Sparkman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. U. S. Sparkman of Sanger, has been announced by her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Davidson.
The wedding has been planned for August 22 at Lois Bap-
tist Church with Rev. DeWayne Lassiter, pastor, officiating.
Miss Davidson is a 1964 graduate oL Valley View High
School and will be a Junior at North Te^as University, Den-
