motor and set on fire sometime Wednesday of last week South of Bolivar. The Sanger Fire
Department answered the call. Although the car is carrying Oklahoma licence plates, no
report of a stolen car

A former resident of Valley
View, he was a retired
farmer and member of teh
Valley View Seventh Day
Adventist Church.
He died at 5 p.m. April 7 in
the Ardmore, Oklahoma
hospital.
He is survived by his wife
Hazel; one daughter, Mrs.
Evelyn Freeman of Denver
Colorado; one son, Clyde

California; three grandchild

house belonging to Mr. and

died at his residence Sunday
April 6.
He was born in Dexter,
Texas July 6. 1892 and
married Mattie Wood Sept.
7, 1920 in Gainesville. lie
was a member of Bolivar
Masonic Lodge 418 and
World War I veteran.
Funeral services were held
Monday. April 7 in the
Sanger First United Metho
dist Church with the Rev. H.
V. Caraway officiating.
Masonic graveside services
were held at the Sanger
Cemetery, pallbearers were
Huston Higgs, Orlie Davis,
Sr., Bob Johnson, Tom
Campbell. Fred Amyx and
Bobbv Rector.

was at the Jackson Ceme

Mrs. Greer died Monday.
March 31. at Silver Leaves
Nursing Home in Denton.
She was born June 30, 1891
in Denton County. She
married Luther T. Greer in
1909 in Stony. Mrs. Greer
was a member of Ponder
Church of Christ.
Survivors include her
husband, Luther Greer of
Denton; one sister, Essie
Wills of Denton; one grand
daughter. Mrs. Jack (Sue)
Knight of Krum; four great
grandsons
