Attend Seminar In Weatherford
More than 75 Texas Farmers Union
Green Thumb workers and sponsors
from nine counties recently attended
a training seminar in Weatherford.

Supervisor, welcomed those attend
ing and introduced the speakers.
Speakers included the Texas Green
Thumb State Director Diane Parri h
from Waco, Sargeant Bill Whiteman
of the Weatherford Police Depart
ment and a representative of the
Plumlee Ambulance Service.
Sargeant Whiteman spoke to the
group about a new program in that
area called “Awareness”. Plumlee
Ambulance Service gave a program
which included tips for personal
safety entitled “Do's and Don’ts for
Safety".
