Euless announce the birth of a
daughter, Stacey Rene Lowe,
Feb. 28 at 9:30 pjn. in
Arlington Memorial Hospital.
She weighed 7 lbs., 4 oz.
Grandmother is Estelle
Lowe of Stephenville. The
baby’s father, Dale, is a
former Stephenville resident
Stacey is still in the hospital,
but will be welcomed home by
a brother, Jeffrey, two years
old.

make-up when Mu Mu chapter
of Beta Sigma Phi met Feb. 27

Opening ritual was led by

roll call and reading of the
minutes.

Stevens was introduced as a
visiting transferee from
Gatesville.
The March social will be a
dutch treat lunch. The time
and place will be arranged
later.
The Ritual of Jewels has
been moved from March U to
March 27 because of spring
break at area schools.
Closing ritual was repeated
and refreshments were served

Spring is on the way. Signs
are here but winter is here too.
After a few days of warm
weather and sunshine, a swift
and disagreeable front Hew in
Friday evening. It was 19
degrees here early Saturday,
but no moisture of any sort as
predicted. We need moisture
badly. Sunday morning it was
10 degrees. You might say
March came in like a roaring
lion, but this may hold back
.the fruit trees from budding

luncheon in Hamilton
Saturday at the "Hamilton
Bank.
Relatives took Dorothy
Reed to a bone specialist in
Fort Worth Wednesday. He
advised her not to go back to
work for four months, because
of her back injury.

Mrs. Pat Christian went to
Hico Friday afternoon to see
Joyce Behems, who un-
derwent surgery recently.

I was sorry to hear that Mr.
and Mrs. Hardy Scott lost
their home in Alexander
Thursday in a fire. It was
reported they thought faulty
wiring caused the fire.

in Stephenville Thursday on
business.
Florence Sheppard of Hico
has made another 100 pot
holders and donated them to
the Busy Bee Club to sell.
Proceeds go to the Clairette
Cemetery treasury. Thanks to
Mrs. Sheppard for her good
work.
Everyone interested jp the
Clairette Cemetery is invited
to send in contributions on the
quilt the club will give away.
The drawing for the quilt will
be at the annual cemetery
working the first Saturday in
May. Proceeds go to the
cerpetery treasury.
