curing as their principal speaker for
the January 31st meeting, Jack Harris,
author of the book, “Star Spangled Ra-
dio” and a man with a wealth of radio
and television experience behind him.
Mr. Harris was General MacArthur’s
Chief of Staff for Press and Radio,
World War II and had charge of all
radio communications for broadcast of
the Japanese surrender on the Battle-
ship Missouri. He is on the Station Ad-
visory Board of the National Broadcast-
ing Company, a Director of the Hous-
ton Post, and General Manager of Ra-
dio Station KPRC and KPRC TV.
The great interest manifested during
our recent meeting at which time Col.
Lee, Commandant of Ellington Field, de-
livered a most inspiring message serves
as a great incentive to our Program
■ Chairman and his Committee to con-
tinue these inspirational meetings. In
Mr. Harris we have another outstand-
ing personality.
Every member is cordially invited to
be present and to bring his friends with
him. Remember the date—Wednesday
evening, January 31 at Eight p. m. —

INTER-FAITH . . .
(Continued from Page 1, Col. 3)
Coming at a time when this world
is in great need of better World Broth-
erhood understanding we are indeed
fortunate in having as our principal
speaker one who is so qualified to in-
spire us with a message of faith and
leadership that will enable us to carry
on our share of more understandable
Brotherhood work.
All Program Chairmen of the en-
tire Men’s Club are coordinating their
efforts to make this Interfaith Brother-
hood Meeting the most outstanding in
the history of the Beth Yeshurun Men’s
Club.
A varied and entertaining program
has been arranged, highlighted by one
of the most interesting and active soc-
ial groups of our Men’s Club, in that
the Square Dance Club will feature a
very special novelty program immed-
iately following the principal speaker.
A delicious barbecued chicken dinner
will be served at $1.50 per plate which
will also entitle the guests to partici-
pate in the Square dancing after the
Brotherhood meeting has adjourned. All
are invited—bring your wives.
