The big reason for the success of
TEXACO. CRATER COMPOUND J'
on the tractor gears is the way in which it resists dirt
and flying dust—the way in which it works under
heavy pressure. CRATER stays on the wearing sm- ■
faces of the teeth—where lubrication is needed.
CRATER is sold in 25 pound cans.
All communications should be address-
ed and remittances made to The Cham-

hopeful that every reader will

The musical given at the club
house by the Junior Music Study
Club Saturday, was a most en-
joyable event and there was a
full house present to enjoy a well
rendered program. Miss Lois
Morrow has been appointed pres-,
ident of the Junior Music Study I
Club. She is a brilliant girl, am-1
bitious and possesses quite a
talent for music, and this club of
young musicians will, no doubt,
continue to grow.—Houston Post.

when these are gone, it may be very difficut to get more, because of
the scarcity of this line of merchandise. So come early—select your
gifts and have us lay them away for you, if you like.
We have plenty of competent and attentive clerks to serve you,

one of purity, his aim being for
the betterment of the religious
causes, society and the general
welfare of humanity. While he
was ripe in years, he was still

The Champion regrets that the
Commissioners Court failed to
accept a bid to build the roads
that were under comtemplation.
There is no mistaking the idea
that we must have good roads.
The people are ready for them
and the quicker we get them the
better this country will be. The
Champion has no desire to criti-
cise the court for the action that
it took—even if we do regret it
so much. If the editor of The
Champion had been a commis-
sioner he would have voted to
accept the lowest bid offered for
the building of the proposed roads
that had been estimated. He
would have risked that much on
the proposition. But the court
did not so vote, and here’s hoping
that they will reflect and reverse
their opinion and again ask for
1 bids and that soon the work will
start.
