A Tribute to My Husband, Our Father and Grandfather
We know that you are not here, but just away.
And memories of you in our hearts will always stay.
We loved you grandfather but God loved you more.
And He took you to that beautiful shore.
To a place where there is no more suffering and pain.
Where there joy, peace and a crown to gain.
For now you have crossed over from death to life.
To a wonderful land from misery and strife.
For God promised never to leave but to keep his own,
and because you'll be missed we never never say
goodbye, because some day, we'll meet again in that
home on High.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card,
or sat quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent a floral piece
if so we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words
That any friend could say.
Perhaps you were not there at all,
just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
we thank you very much.
