Much can be learned by listen-
ing to radio, this 24-hour news and
talk station was comparing weather
in Alaska with ours this Tuesday
night He was talking to a station in
Alaska The weather there was 55
degrees below freezing. Ours was
about 55 degrees on Wednesday
morning about 5 o'clock our time,
Feb. 3,1993. He said that the air is
very dry at that 55 degrees below
frcezing-Also, he said they put a
small, battery heater on bottom of
motor, so cars w ill start in morning,
which he went out to check every 3
hours. Otherwise, the cars would
not start. Believe we have very nice
weather here in Texas.
1 wo sunshine days were bcauti-
ful--Saturday, Sunday, and perhaps
this morning
Spring and summer will be here
before we know it. Youknow people.
Z7or over 70 years our family has been helping families of the community. Our
J. personal dedication and caring has remained strong and committed through-
out the years.
We do, however, change appropriately to meet the needs of those we serve. Our
renovation program has been completed. You'll immediately notice the change in
our remodeled exterior. Inside, we have a new /
reception area, a new stateroom and refurbished \/
chapel. Our accessibility for the handicapped in-
eludes a convenient elevator to the second level. ' J P
As always, service, in a caring way, is the
continuing Hurley tradition.

I got my first "Frederick's of
Hollywood" Catalog this week and
it has left me torn to pciccs ever
since. The front reads, "This will
be your LAST catalog unless you
act now!" Imagine! To wait all
these years to get this catalog and be
threatened like that! What if I
somehow don’t act fast enough:
Never again would I get this publi-
cation. Doesn't that just tear you
up?
So I eagerly began to scan its
pages to find some desirable and
needed merchandise to send for
There is "Sheer Temptation; but it
does not come in my size The wigs
are all too long and do not come in
white. I decided to pass up "Tatoo

sion "tatoos' flirting along the top
and provocatively cl i mbi ng one leg.

She told the audience that to sur-

not. She stressed the importance of
paying attention, to learn every-

I don't see anyone locally wear-
ing the platform fantasy shoes,
rcachingdramatic new heights with
sexy six inch heels—. So they're
out. Here's a slick baby doll that will
fit a woman weighing 300 lbs

velcro—delicate floral lace, puff

Grady's dog Oscar Mayer would
not be impressed.
Not one floor length, long
sleeved outing flannel nightie with
matching booties. Heck! I guess I'll
just have to face it! No more
