There are 10 new Beth Hayeled
teachers including David Kaplan -
the Pre-First Social Studies, Prac-
tical Life and Art teacher. With his
varied background and activities,
Mr. Kaplan is able to share many
interests with the students. A Uni-
versity of Texas graduate in An-
1 thropology, he is a member of the
University of Houston Mime Groupe, and performs in chil-
drens’ shows at the Music Hall. He is also an artist and
finds time to do pantomimes for the children. Mr. Kaplan
finds the open classroom appealing, the children bright and
a joy to teach. He’s 28, single, and a well-liked addition
to our staff.
