The Men’s Club selected Cantor George Wagner to be the
recipient of the prestigious Sam B. Cohen award at its annual
Chanukah Celebration on Sunday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m.
in the Pulaski-Rauch Auditorium.
The seated dinner catered by The Kosher Meating Place
is $25.00 per couple. A cash bar will precede dancing to the
music of “Midstream.”
Cantor Wagner has completed almost 35 years as the
musical voice of Beth Yeshurun. In that role he has been
soloist and lecturer for the Cantors Assembly Convention.
He holds a Master’s Degree in music from Columbia
University in New York City. Early on in his musical career
the cantor was soloist with the Light Opera Guild in that city.
