For those who still haven’t
heard, OILER stands for:
Opportunity for Interest-
ed Laypeople, Eastcoast
Religious Seminar. And
the charter members of
this 8-day Akiba trip to
New York area will have
a chance on December 8 to meet their fellow travelers
and discuss the details of their stay at the famous
Concord Hotel in Monticello, N.Y., and their tour of the
Jewish byways of New York City. Featured at this first
of a series of OILER meetings will be:
• “Rendezvous with Freedom” - an unusual 30-
minute film that relates the history of the Jews in
the U.S. since 1654.
• Richard Liebman of Frosch International - your
travel agent who will discuss costs, travel insurance,
accommodations at the Concord and the Hotel
Roosevelt in N.Y.C., etc.
• Rabbi Jack Segal - your travel guide (along with
Toby) who will explain the study-and-recreation
program at the Concord and the three-day sight-
seeing tour by private bus through Jewish New
York. And ... he will teach OILERS to sing as
loudly as ASTROS . . . New York City, like Israel,
will never be the same!
Last-minute bulletin!
There are still FOUR OPENINGS on the OILER trip!
Call Rabbi Segal today at 666-1883.
