CHILD CARE FOR HIGH HOLY DAYS
Child care will again be available this year at the times
listed below at a cost of $2.00 per day per child. Prepaid
reservations are required. Please return the application
below as soon as possible with your check, for the sessions you
want to reserve. Space is limited.
In order for the synagogue to prepare properly for your
child, no reservations will be accepted after September 30.
Please make checks payable to Congregation Beth Yeshurun
and mail checks and applications to “Child Care, c/o Wanda
Hill, 3211 Hollister, Houston, Texas 77080. (Telephone
468-8804).
In order for the child care to run smoothly, all children’s
belongings must be labeled. Babies will not be fed by staff
—parents need to come to the child care area to feed their
babies. Portacribs, infant seats and disposable diapers must
be provided by babies.
The child’s favorite toy or game can be brought, as well as a
blanket that should be labeled.
We would also appreciate parent volunteers to donate an
hour of time during Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur to aid
other parents in the hall during child care hours. If you could
be so generous to volunteer some time, please check “yes” in
the space below and we will inquire later as to which holiday
you prefer. Please be sure to give your telephone number.

CHILDREN’S SERVICES
A pre-school service will be held on Rosh Hashanah,
Saturday, October 4,11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, in the Mandel-
Weiner auditorium, and on Yom Kippur, Monday, October
13, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the Mandel-Weiner
auditorium.
An Elementary School service (grades 1 to 5) will be held on
Yom Kippur, Monday, October 13, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
in the open area of the Day School.
YIZKOR BOOK
The printer deadline for the Yizkor Book for the YOM
KIPPUR/SUCCOTH Services is SEPTEMBER 19, 1986.
All forms MUST be in the synagogue office prior to that date.
To help eliminate errors, we must request a SEPARATE
FORM FOR EACH PERSON MAKING A CONTRI-
BUTION. If you should need additional forms for other
members of your family, please call our Synagogue office,
666-1881, and we will be pleased to send them to you.

parking. The designated area will be ,
clearly marked and shuttle busses will be ’
available to take congregants to and from the synagogue. The
lot to be used this year is bounded by: Frankway on the East,
Meyer Park on the West, Jackwood on the North, Jason on the
South.
There is NO parking in the strip shopping center across
from the synagogue, NO parking in the apartment complexes,
NO parking in the lot of the Meyerland Professional Building.
The police will use wreckers to haul off any cars parked
illegally in these areas. Please do not park in front of the fire
hydrants.

HANDICAPPED PARKING
An area in the South parking lot has been designated for
Handicapped Parking where there is a ramp for wheelchairs.
Only cars with a “Handicapped” sticker will be allowed to
park in the section reserved for Handicapped.
There will be a special “drop off” point at the Beechnut
entrance for those members who have family who cannot walk
any distance. The attendants have been requested to assist
members with disabled passengers directly in front of the
door, and if necessary the car may be double parked a few
moments to assist the member into the building.
