mature in serial payments as nearly

of such bonds to be payable more
than forty (40) years from their date;
and whether or not a tax shall be lev
ied upon the property situated and
being within the boundaries of said
Matagorda County Road District No. 10
of Matagorda County, Texas, subject
to taxation, for the purpose of pay-
in’g the interest on said Bonds, and
to provide a sinking fund for the re-
demption of said bonds at maturity,
for the purpose of purchasing or tak-
ing over roads in Matagorda County
Road District No. 4 of Matagorda
County, Texas, and fully and fairly
compensating said Matagorda Coun-
ty Road District No. 4 of Matagorda
County, Texas, in an amount equal
to the issued and outstanding bonds
of Said Matagorda County Road Dis-
trict No. 4 of Matagorda County,
Texas, and for the purpose of con-
structing, maintaing, and operating
macadamized, graveled b r paved
roads and turnpikes, or in aid there-
of, within said Matagorda County
Road District No. 10 of Matagorda
County, Texas.
Notice of said election shall be giv-
en by pubiclation in some newspaper
published in the County of Matagor-
da, in the State of Texas, for four
successive weeks, there being no news-
paper published in said Matagorda
