The funeral of Mrs. W. E. Williams
of Matagorda, was held Saturday af-
ternoon at 3:00 o'clock from Christ
Church, Matagorda, the Rev. Paul E.
Engle, of this city, officiating.
Mr* Williams died at Gulf hospital
on Friday al 2:00 p. in., following a
long Illness. Until the last she kept
her courage and her brave, confident |
spirit is a heritage to her family.
Before her marirage Mrs. Williams
was Miss Margaret Elizabeth Baxter,
of Matagorda She was forty-eight
years of age. She is survived by her
husband. W. E. Williams, a daughter,
