Health House
Achievement Of
School Children
An achievement worth mention-
ing is the building of a "health
house" by the second y*nr chil-
dren of th«> South Ward school,
undi'r the supervision of Mrs
George Switzer, teacher.
The house, in miniature, was
built entirely by the children and
brings out the various points nec-
essary to health. Built with a
frame structure, the house is pa-
pored with ordinary wallpaper in-
side. and the outside is wholly
covered with pictures cut front
magazines. The pictures are color-
ful illustrations of fruits, vege-
tables, meats and milks, gay
Lright things that add to the at-
tractiveness of the house.
Inside, the walls are decorated
with health posters. Th*> furniture
includes a miniature bed, scrupu-
lously clean, n washbowl made by
the children, a table and chairs.

Did his classmates lose track of him?
How could they? He was the sort of
friend that all of us would want to
keep .. . mostly because of his under-
standing slant on life and people and
things. He was active in athletics, yet
his studies never suffered ... nor did
overwork cheat him of recreation and
relaxation. Light-hearted, yet serious
when problems faced him . . . always
masterof his worries. He avoided idlers,
but added constantly to his circle of
sincere friends. He was courageous
without being reckless, confident with-
out being cocksure... moderate in all
things. Everybody said he'd make good.
He has.
