last week of March, the elders
confirmed that Brazil was the
choice of the group.
Various Brazilian cities are

nounced in June, 1964.
Representatives of the move-

PORTLAND, Ore.—“Operation ’68”, the unique mis-
sionary idea that has sparked new missionary activity f -
among the Churches of Christ in the Northwest, has —r-
selected Brazil as its goal for 1968.
The movement, which began
with a group of dedicated
young people at Camp Yamhill,
Oregon, last summer, now num
bers 104 persons. Included—at
all ages — are ministers, doc-
tors, teachers, professional
people, as well as students.
The original purpose of the
movement was to place 68 mis-
sionaries in a foreign field by
1968. The Central Church* of
Christ in Portland has accepted
the oversight of the operation.
