since Tuesday last, and I# largely
attended and getting along nicely,
The Convention ■ will be in seastofi
several days yet. Preceding the As-
sociation proper, the inimitable
Rev. Bud Robinson, a Hollncbr
eVaugeilst, preached from Saturdav
to Tuesday.
Robinson is one of the nx/ai uni-
que and original characters bef< .
the public today, and his preching
was well received at. Arlington.
A pleasing feature so far has been
the good fellowship with which our
people have met and received the
large number of strangers who came
here on the inviation of a single
man. Rev. J. T. Upchurch. Ther$
has often been friction between the
Holiness people and the churches
at other places; but not so here at
Arlington.
Every spare bed In the city is oc-
'•|cu(>ied for once at least, by a Holi-
ness man or woman No queslons
have been asked the strangers within
our gates; no terms have been de-
manded of them or requirements
asked. Our |»eople with that gener-
osity for which they are noted,
simply threw open their doors to
them and told them to help them-
selves to what they saw in sight,
and call for what they could not see.
.And the visitors are appreciating,
the courtersies extended to
and are making themselves
< * oughly agreeable.
< > And why should they not?
