ed into the Warren Avenue police
station a few days ago made a
fuss over Policeman Clarence Hay-
den, who said he doesn’t like dogs
But Hayden soon became the
dog's champion although other po-
licemen favored taking her to an
animal shelter Hayden allowed
her the run ot the station and fed
her Then lie planned to take the
dog lionte
But he changed Ins plans last
‘ night Police trailed the dog from
the station and found she has a
family of eight puppies hidden
away tn a nearby basement.
