general revenue fund that it didn't
expect to have three months ago
on which the spending 50th Legis-
lature failed to write successful ap-
propriations.
State Comptroller George H
Sheppard reported yesterday that
August revenue totalling $32,856,-
765 had boosted the fiscal year's
income to $377,549,123. more than
$72 (XX),000 ahead of the previous
fisx-al year which ended Aug 31,
1946
Of that total $49,832,677 was In
the general revenue fund at fiscal
I year end, $1,857,491 ahead of where
