evening, following a few remarks
by J. P Harrison, manager of In-
terstate, Theatres here, who pre-
sented Ronnie Ames, district pub-
licity director for RKO Studios.
Miss Gates was presented, and
made a brief talk, expressing her
enthusiasm at again being In Den-
ton and saying that she had en-
joyed working on the film in Hol-
lywood.
"This Land Is Mine" which had
its world premier in Cincinnati late
in May, was shown for the first
time in Texas Friday evening. It
is scheduled to run as a feature
picture in theatres in Texas early
in September Harrison, on behalf
of Interstate Theatres and coop-
erating with RKO Studios, was able
to obtain the picture here for a
showing while Miss Galea is vis-
iting in Denton She and a party
of friends were guests for the pre-
view.
