Mr. and Mrs. Robert Caldwell, 803
Egan Street, who was wounded
March 24 at Anrio beachhead, to
now receiving treatment at the
Harmon General Hospital In Long-
view, where his parents and sister,
Miss Virginia Oaldwell. visited him
Wednesday and Thursday. His In-
jury occurred when a Stell frag-
ment pierced his left leg, Inflicting
a painful Wound. He rematert ite
an Army hospital in Italy <*itll >e-
cently. when he was returned to the
United States for further treatment
In a New York hospital. Arriving in
this country Sept. 1. he was trans-
ferred to the Longview hospital last
i Sunday. His leg will remain in a
cast for about six weeks longer, af-
ter which he will be released from
the hospital, according to his par-
ents. • . '
The Center Point School will
open for registration and scheduling
of students Wednesday. Sept. 20,
and classwork will begin Thursday
morning, according to announce-
ment from the faculty, which will
constat of Mmes. T. W. Fry and A.
D. Godwin and Miss Le Veta Land-
