Payer is critically sick. We
suspect cancer. Brother Leo
Blaha preached last Sunday for
the church in Salzburg. He and
his wife are both faithful
teachers. Another member, sister
Beran, although she is over 70
years of age, goes from house to
house passing out literature for
the church.
We plan to hold our first
gospel meeting in April. We are
planning on Rudi Rischer from
Augsburg, Germany to preach
for us. This summer approxi-

We also plan to use them in
Bible camps in Hungary, Poland
and Yugoslavia.
The dollar hit an all-time low
this past week in Austria. This
not only concerns us personally,
but threatens to hinder our work
in spreading the gospel. We need
your help now, more than ever
before. Your past support has
meant so much, please continue
to remember us.

extensive slide collections.
In making the announcement
of this change in chapel, Dr.
Hacker, President of LCC,
expressed deep regret in losing
the services of such a man as
Dr. Kearley who is imminently
qualified and respected as a
teacher and scholar, but at the
same time, expressed great
pleasure that a man of the
stature of Don Shackelford could
be secured to fill the crucial post
of Chairman of the Bible
Department of LCC.
Music performed by young people is one of the enjoyable benefits of
being associated with a Christian college. The a cappella chorales of
our various Christian schools have brought much happiness and pleasant
memories to the lives of many Christian families.
Now, during the 25th anniversary of Oklahoma Christian College, it
pleases me that for the first time a recording has been made of some
beautiful hymns sung by the a cappella choruses of several of our sister
institutions. This recording was made during the annual Christian
College Choral Festival which was conducted in Oklahoma City this past
spring.
I am highly impressed with the quality of the repording and commend
this record to every Christian family that loves gospel hymns and
spiritual songs. In my opinion, this record will undoubtedly become
collector's item among Christian families.
In 1959, Shackelford made a 45
day camping trip from Italy to
the Holy Land indicating his
interest in Bible geography, and
in 1968, he participated in a six
week archaeological dig at Gaza
in Israel. He has studied in the
British Museum in Jerusalem;
Louve in Paris; the Vatican
Museum in Rome; and other
archaeological museums in
Antioch and Florence. He has
about 4,000 slides on Bible and
Bible related subjects and
