A community-wide old fashioned
entertainment was sponsored at the
school auditorium by the Coffeys,
Heifners, Cooks, Goforths, Pharrs,
Gunters, Anderson, Spurgin, Biggs,
Parrs, Spears, Nidkerson, Graham,
Fishers, Stinsons, Sartains, and Mor-
rows. This was for the purpose of
honoring Mrs. Lucille Christian Riffe
of California, who has been living
there for many years. Her other
friends and relatives living elsewhere
were: Mr, and Mrs. E. E. Graham
and son, Jerry, of Garland Mrs. Ethe-
leen Snavely of Dallas; Mr. and Mrs.
Wallace Christian and baby, Mrs.
Carrie Christen, Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cook of
McKinney; Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Sni-
der and Mrs. Ruth Graham of Hous-
ton. Punch and cake was served
and good music was enjoyed.
