individual scorer with a win in

in the mile relay, and a fourth in
the sprint relay.
Others placing for the SAC team
were Richard Suckel and Carroll
Smith, finishing second and third
in the 440 yard dash; and Ralph
Branchizio and Mauricio “Stomp-
er” Sandoval, finishing third and
fourth in the mile run. Also Smith,
Frank Costello, Suckel, and Uhr
on thd* 440 yard relay team that
finished fourth, and Costello, Suc-
kel, C. Smith, and Joe Waldrop on
the mile relay that took a third.

Carroll scored 418 points last year, and 361 this year, for a total of
779 in two years. He is also a track man, last year winning fourth
place in Conference, in the quarter mile, and is again on the cinder
team.
